Exhibition "António Carneiro - O retratista de almas"
Until February 16th, the exhibition "António Carneiro - O retratista de almas" was at the Amadeo de Souza-Cardoso Municipal Museum, composed of portraits and self-portraits by António Carneiro and two works by his son Carlos Carneiro.
Visitors were invited to enter the world of portraits by Teixeira de Pascoaes. The references and artistic productions relating to the Amarantino writer Teixeira de Pascoaes contribute to a full reading, leading to the enjoyment, both artistic and intellectual, of António Carneiro's works.
The reopening of the Amadeo de Souza-Cardoso Museum of Modern Art took place on December 5 at 6 p.m., marking the return of one of Amarante’s most important cultural venues.
